Requested service — consumer robotics

One bounded question about one robot, answered by a person.

Consumer Robotics Evidence BriefOne bounded question about a consumer robotics device, maker, lineage, capability, release or operational concern — answered in one human-reviewed evidence packet. Sending this form records a request. Scope, timing and terms are confirmed in writing only after a person reviews it, and no payment is collected here.

Scope
One question, one packet

§ 01

What you can ask about

A brief answers exactly one of these at a time. If the question cannot be bounded inside your declared sources, LRRK says so instead of widening it.

A specific device
What is independently knowable about this consumer robot or home autonomous device before it is bought, fielded or resold?
A maker or supplier
Who actually builds, updates and controls this product, and what is documented about how they handle defects and disclosure?
Product lineage
How did this model descend from earlier hardware or platforms, and what carried over with it?
Sensing and actuation capability
What can this device actually perceive, record and physically do, as opposed to what the marketing implies?
A firmware or release question
What changed in this release or update channel, and what is verifiable about how updates reach the device?
An operational concern
One bounded worry about deploying, retiring or supervising these devices in a real environment.

§ 02

Which sources may be used

You declare the boundary. It is recorded with the request and travels with the finding, so a reader always knows what was and was not consulted.

  • Public manufacturer documentation, manuals and release notes.
  • Public regulatory filings, recall notices and safety advisories.
  • Public teardown, repair and researcher write-ups you name.
  • Materials you supply directly, such as your own logs or procurement documents.
  • Sources you explicitly forbid — those are recorded and left untouched.

§ 03

What you receive

One bounded answer
A written answer to the single question that was accepted at scope review, with the question restated verbatim.
Labelled claims
Every claim marked fact, inference, judgement, recommendation or preserved unknown, so a reader can see how much weight each line carries.
Declared source boundary
The sources you permitted, recorded with the finding. Nothing outside that boundary enters the packet.
Verifiable evidence packet
Hashes and scope travel with the packet, so a third party can check what was examined and when.
Stated limitations
Unknowns stay unknown. A brief never implies coverage, monitoring or testing that did not happen.

§ 04

What a brief is not

  • Not a certification, seal of approval or safety clearance for any device.
  • Not continuous monitoring — a brief is a bounded piece of work with an end.
  • Not a penetration test, physical teardown or laboratory measurement.
  • Not legal advice, and not a substitute for a manufacturer's own disclosures.
  • No sources are used beyond the boundary you declare.

The Quiet Systems Public Register stays free and open to anyone, with no request and no account. A paid brief never gates it.

Terms

Recurring scopes are described on the Assurance Desk page and every stated amount is listed on the pricing page. A request does not reserve capacity, and no payment is collected on this site.
